Simple budget-friendly bedroom | My minimal bedroom revamp

The bedroom to me is a sacred space. It’s a place of rest, romance and rejuvenation.

While the rest of my home is super glam, I wanted my bedroom to be simple & harmonious. When I close my eyes at night, I want to feel peaceful and when I open my eyes in the morning, I want to feel peaceful. Having a bedroom crammed with a lot of stuff can interfere with that.

Because I kept all of my original furniture, this revamp was pretty easy and budget-friendly.

Easy things to change during a budget friendly revamp

BEDDING– The best way to change the look of a bedroom is with the bedding. I like duvets because they allow you to switch up the bedding easily, quickly, and cheaper. Plus washing duvet covers and inserts are so much easier. I purchased my duvet from amazon

RUGS– I love a good rug because rugs really do bring the room together. I tend to switch up my rugs every year so I opt for cheaper rugs. I got my navy rug from Amazon as well. Under $50!

PILLOWS – Need I say more? Pillows are like icing on the cake for me. They just make the furniture look pretty. I like to use pillow inserts because they’re easier to wash and you can switch up whenever you want. Again, another Amazon purchase lol Furry Pillow & Four Printed pillows. Also be sure to purchase pillow inserts for the pillow covers.

All of my furniture was purchased while there was a sale.
My bedframe was purchased at Wayfair during a Holiday sale. They no longer carry the item but I did find a similar bedroom frame on Amazon.
My mirror nightstands was purchased about 4 years ago at Kirklands. I remember stalking the site waiting for them to be marked down at least 40% lol.

You guys know I love the thrift store for home decor finds! I was able to snag all 3 of these candle pillars for $15! They just needed a good dust, clean and paint!
